  • We have exchange 2010 DAG servers. we want to below setup.

    Don’t permanently delete items until the database is backed up.

  • Hi,

    Run this command in EMS:

    Set-MailboxDatabase -identity <DB Name> -RetainDeletedItemsUntilBackup:$true

    You can do this in EMC also. Go to database properties and check "Don't permanently delete items until the database has been backed up" in Limits tab.

    can you provide how can i below setup individual user by exchange management console?

    "Don't permanently delete items until the database has been backed up" in Limits tab.

    above settings can be set on mailbox database level not on individual user .
