Since installing Windows 8.1 and Internet Explorer 11 on October 18 I have not been able to remotely connect with a Small Business Service's Outlook programme via the "outlook" link. All I am getting is the message that "This page can’t be displayed". I have no problem doing this on another machine that is still using Windows 8 and IE 10 that use the same internet connection.
After some difficultly I can now fully connect to my workplace workstation via the "connect" link, but still not directly to the Outlook programme on its own.
I have tried changing the compatibility settings etc. but this has not changed anything.
The direct link to Outlook does not require an Active X control.

Thanks for your posting here.
Based on your description, the machine (Windows 8 and IE 10) can use the same internet connection. We have reasons to believe that the Small Business Server runs correctly. So, regarding your requirement, it is more related to the Window 8.1 client configuration. I suggest that you would post your question in Windows 8.1 Forum. I believe we will get a better assistance there.
Hope this helps.

Just don't mention SBS in other forums as you will be sent back here. Instead just say your new installation will not connect to OL Anywhere.
