ok so i have discovered that 2 client computers wont refrsh or connect to the group policy, though when looking in the event logs nothing shows up, now how ive figured this out is i have a few sowtware installs that are pushed out via a group policy object, so when i unistall a program thats supposed to be installed via gpo it wont reinstall, also said computers wont take any changes to group policy unless i delete the group policy on the machines regerstry so it can rebuild, so i delete it and it reinstalls and applys and changes, but then immeditly after that it wont accept any changes made... ive check the logs and all its gives me is the event id 1112, im at a loss, any ideas?
When group policy didnt apply, hope you have done the basic things such as GPUPDATE/FORCE or refresh policy etc..
If only 2 systems are not getting updated GPO verify the OS settings comparing with other systems which are working.
Thanks for posting in the forum.
Regarding the current issue, as mhudacko mentioned, we could try to run Gpupdate /force command to see if the Group Policy settings could be applied to the machine correctly. Regarding the Event ID 1112, we could try to refer to the following article. It may be useful to us.
Event ID 1112 — Application of Group Policy
Hope this helps.
