windows server 2012 VDI session based desktop

    Question

  • Dear All

im planning to provide 120 user with a session based desktop service and zero clients instead of using legacy PCs

my question is how many virtual machine I have to create in the host to serve the 120 user and how to control each user where to connect (in which machine)

another question is how many session can the virtual machine windows 7 handle concurrently

     thanks

  • You should start with the Solution Accelerator for VDI to find these answers as there are many ways to have this configured. You need to decide if you want the users to receive the same desktop (persistent), receive a new desktop each time (pooled), or even use Session Based from Server 2012, more likely a mixture of each.
