New Uverse Modem

    Question

  • I was having a problem with my Uverse modem and ATT gave me a new Uverse modem.

The IP address of the Uverse modem is now different.  I made the changes with the hardware appliance firewall and installed the new modem.

Everything is working on the SBS 2011 except, I can not send exchange server emails outbound.  I can receive emails, remote desktop from my house into the workstation, and surf the internet properly.

Do I need to rekey my certificate?  I spoke with Network Solutions and was told that I do not have to rekey the certificate.

The MX records have already been changed.

What do I need to do to send my exchange server emails?

    Thanks

    George

  • Hi,

Thanks for posting in the forum.

Regarding the current issue, since the third-party product discussed here is manufactured by a company that is independent of Microsoft. We make no warranty, implied or otherwise, regarding this product's performance or reliability. At this time, I suggest you’d better contact the support of ATT. They will lead us to configure the settings on the device.

    Thanks for your understanding.
