Edit vba macros in Office 2010 excel

    Question

  • Hello..

I have upgraded to Office 2010 from 2007. I have an excel program with several vba macros that run fine in 2007and 2010, but I cannot edit any of them in 2010- none of the buttons apart from RUN are enabled. Neither is the Project viewable in the vba editor screen. I would appreciate any help on this.

    Thank you

  • Is the Developer tab visible on the ribbon (it is hidden by default)? If not, right-click on the ribbon and choose Customize the Ribbon. Then put a check next to the Developer item on the right-hand side of the ribbon. Even with the Developer tab hidden, you can always press Alt+F11 to display the Visual Basic Editor window.
