Unpivot component could not be created

    Question

  • Hello,

I have recently moved this process from 2005 bids process to 2008. I am not sure what is going on. The job fails and posts this message:

Microsoft (R) SQL Server Execute Package Utility  Version 10.50.4000.0 for 64-bit  Copyright (C) Microsoft Corporation 2010. I have tried re-registering the component but no avail. I also recreated the Unpivot and I still receive the issue. I have also tried turning 'Run64BitRuntime' to false and still no luck. Any ideas?

  • Wrong forum. You probably should post this in the SSIS forum.

Identical problem to yours posted here. http://www.sqlservercentral.com/Forums/Topic979835-391-1.aspx Don't know if the suggestions there resolved the problem but I'd suggest going into Control Panel | Programs and Features and attempting to repair your installation from there.

  • Hi justin1681,

Please check if you have install SQL Server Integration Services on your machine. The error code 0x80070005 means "Access is denied", please also recheck that current account have sufficient permission access to SSIS folders.

In addition, we discuss SQL Server Analysis Services related issue in this forum. If you have any more questions about it, please post your question in SQL Server Integration Services forum for better support.
