Item level targetting for laptops

    Question

  • Hi All,

Can some advise the best way for using item level targetting for Group Policy Preferences to identify laptops. It appears that the 'portable device' option does not work as it looks for a hardware profile that does not exist in Windows 7

    Cheers,

    S

  • This isn't an answer, it just confirms that the portable option works in Windows 8 only. How do you identify a laptop for anything below using GPP?
