Windows cannot update your roaming profile

    Question

  • Hello

I've recently copied all terminal server roaming profiles from old Windows Server 2003 to a new Windows Server 2012 DC with robocopy. All security NTFS permissions and sharing were kept. After that I reconfigured Domain GPO policy and pointed "Set path for Remote Desktop Services Roaming User Profile" to a new server (\\newserver\TSProfiles). However, I started getting the following errors when user is logging off the server:

    1.

Possible causes of this error include network problems or insufficient security rights. If this problem persists, contact your network administrator.

DETAIL - The file or directory is corrupted and unreadable.

    2.

    Description:

Does anyone have an idea what else could be causing it?

    Thanks in advance!
