Our Company originally started with a Single 2003 SBS server and in 2006 We added 3 additional Windows 2003 R2 Servers. Made one a DC (File print server) and the other 2 member servers. (One Exchange 2007 and the Other SQL 2005 )
We don't really use the SBS 2003 SP1 server anymore. We only have it in the network to manage DNS, DHCP, and AD. Before I remove it form the domain do I need to somehow upgrade our AD to a non SBS Version?
Also we are considering upgrading one of our 2003 Standard Edition Servers (Running SQL 2005 Server) to a 2008 Enterprise edition to get above the 32GB of Ram limitation. Foresee any troubles of having a single 2008 server in a 2003 network?
Any known issues?
