dllhost.exe - application error

    Question

  • hi,

    im not sure if this is the right forums post but i think it will come under it as its a application but any way, I got my pc as windows 8 and then windows 8.1 came out but there are 2 errors i get one of them i have looked into and other people get it too but this one i looked into but people have it different mine says "the instruction at 0x9ca6ba7d referenced memory at 0x00000010. the memory could not be written.

    click on OK to terminate the program"

    i don't know what program its referring to.

    if you know how to fix it, it would be a big help :D

    Please check if there is any restore point before this issue, if so, please restore system to that point to see if issue persists.

    If we cannot get this fixed, please try to scan system file by run following command as Admin:

    SFC /scannow

    If you get error message Windows Resource Protection found corrupt files but was unable to fix some of them. Please zip and post back the CBS.Log under %WinDir%\Logs\CBS\CBS.log on skydrive and share the link here.

    Meanwhile, please help to collect app crash dump file by following the suggestions Andre’s first post in this thread:
