I added member in members (windows account).

I apply a DAX filter on table

    example : =Unit_Master[Unit_Name]="Mobiles"

process and deployed but when i go powerview report  level

I drag the Unit_Name in report it shows all values

    example : Mobiles

                    Cars

  • if you are also admin of the tabular database/server those rights will always overwrite your security settings

so you can either test with a user that is not admin or you use Roles or EffectiveUserName Parameter in your connectionstring
