Hello!
After I updated Windows
8 to Windows 8.1 system
stops processing incoming connections (PPTP,L2TP) after
sleep or hibernation.
Process System (PID 4) does not open
port 1723. Does not work PPTP,
or L2TP. No records in logs are present. Restart the service
"Routing and Remote Access"
does not solve the problem. Reinstallation of system doesn't solve a problem. The problem disappears after reboot.
The only way to avoid the bug -
stop the service "Routing and Remote Access"
before going into sleep mode or hibernation
and then start it after waking up the system.
There is a suspicion that this is a bug
in the system kernel. What could be the
problem and where to start searching for a solution?
