  • The requirement isn't clear. What do you mean by right value on bold cells? Are you saying instead of the bold cell data it should have been populated with value?

It would be better if you can give the image of what you are looking for something like current and expected output? Or you can give pointers on what you need.

A snapshot of groupings being done on the report too would be good.

  • Here is all that you need to do.  Create the following dataset:

    create table enum_summary
    (
    plant_name int,
    measuring_enum int,
    july_2004 decimal (4,3),
    aug_2004 decimal (4,3)
    )

    insert enum_summary values (1,2,0.234,0.270)
    insert enum_summary values (1,3,0.071,0.068)
    insert enum_summary values (2,3,0.224,0.283)
    insert enum_summary values (5,3,0.087,0.069)

    insert enum_summary values (2,2,0.005,0.111)
    insert enum_summary values (5,2,0.100,0.102)

    select * from enum_summary
    drop table enum_summary

Then create a tablix and add these 4 columns as follows.

Add two groups: one on the measuring_enum column and the other on details.  (See above).  Then set the expression to average the July and August 2004 columns within the measuring_enum group row.  Click on Preview and you will see the following:

(I added two dummy data rows in my dataset for more output).
