No hardware or software scan


  • Hey All

    I have deployed a new site and my few clients that I have deployed don't ever do a hardware or software scan.

    There are 2 MP's and 1 FSP and they all report as healthy.  When I look at the clients they have pulled policy and have the all the actions there.

    The 2 clients are on the component serves (PS and role server)

    Any thoughts ?

  • I would start by checking the inventoryagent.log on those clients. if you do get a message like 'successfully uploaded report' in there, then the client side should be working fine.

    head over to the server and check if you see that client's name appearing in the MP_hinv or MP_sinv.log file

    it might be good to check if the clientlocation and locationservices.log file on the clients are good also
