Addition Item in Asset Intelligence Mgt

    Question

  • I added a few more items into the licensing statement file (.csv)

    Name,Publisher,Version,Language,EffectiveQuantity,PONumber,ResellerName,DateOfPurchase,SupportPurchased,SupportExpirationDate,Comments

but when I view the report from 15A, only the mandatory items shown.

I'd like to know if the additional items with data that I added into .csv file will be imported to site DB?

    I can't find it from SELECT * FROM v_GS_INSTALLED_SOFTWARE

  • it seems to me Name,Publisher,Version,Language,EffectiveQuantity,PONumber,ResellerName,DateOfPurchase,SupportPurchased,SupportExpirationDate,Comments are the only supported columns.

If you wanna generate a report with item above, e.g. PO Number, just duplicate 15A and add PONumber in

              select

                Lic.Name as [Product Name],

                Lic.Version as [Product Version],

                Lic.EffectiveQuantity as [Licensed Quantity],

                count(soft.ProductName0) as [Inventory Count],

                Lic.EffectiveQuantity - count(soft.ProductName0) as [Difference],Lic.PONumber,

                @CollectionID as [Collection]

              from fn_rbac_AI_NON_MS_LICENSE(@UserSIDs)  Lic

              left outer join

              (

                select ProductName0, ProductVersion0

                from fn_rbac_GS_INSTALLED_SOFTWARE(@UserSIDs)

                where ResourceID in

(select ResourceID from fn_rbac_FullCollectionMembership(@UserSIDs)  where CollectionID = @CollectionID)

              ) soft

              ON Lic.Name = soft.ProductName0 and dbo.fn_MatchLicenseVersion(Lic.Version, soft.ProductVersion0) = 1

              group by Lic.Name, Lic.Version, Lic.EffectiveQuantity,Lic.PONumber

              order by Lic.Name, Lic.Version
