Adding Active Directory Permissions Role

    Question

  • I have been trying to resolve the error of giving "Send As" permissions.  I have read everything and done everything I could for the past 4 days.  And then I found an article in Exchange 2010 that specifically states that the Organization Management role should be a member of the Active Directory Permissions role.  However, I don't even see the ADP role in my entire forest.  Also, when I run the Get-ManagementRole -Role "Organization Management" on my Exchange server, the shell responds that it can't find the role.  No matter what I do with inheritance or anything else, I have been unable to assign Send As permissions.

  • Hi

If you look in ADUC? Does your account form part of this group? From the shell you can also run to see who has permissions:

    Get-RoleGroupMember "Organization Management"

to add a user to the group:

    Add-RoleGroupMember "Organization Management" -Member username

    Did you try DareDevil57's suggestion?

    Is there any update?
