I'm getting this alert on one of my servers

    Type: Error
    Source: GetEngineFiles
    Event ID: 6014
    Event Time: 7/1/2009 10:05:12 AM
    User: n/a
    Computer: OCDAEX02
    Description:
Unable to load manifest from: http://antigendl.microsoft.com/antigen/x86/Sophos/Package/manifest.cab : (0x00002ee7) The server name or address could not be resolved.  WinHttpClient failed while sending a request.

I've seen these a few times a week. When I check the Antigen Administrator > Scanner Updates, I see that Sophos Anti-Virus has updated since the alert. Is there a way to quickly test the connectivity through a browser when these events come up?

    Hi Sandy,

You should be able to reach that manifest.cab file through your browser directly. For links to manifest.cab files for all engines, please see this blog.
