SpamCure not updating & crashing

On Dec 23rd our daily SpamCure update failed. It has been failing every time and I believe the spamcure engine is not even running since Antigen Administrator shows no info for this scanner when I click on it. I have tried tripling the timeout via the registry key and it solves no problem. I tried manually downloading the spamcure engine and the files are identical to the ones the server already has for spamcure.

The eventlog error is:

EventID: 6014
Message: The SpamCure scan engine update timed out while loading scanner.

The ProgramLog.txt error is:

Do you have SP1 installed? There is also a rollup package for SP1 (Rollup 4).

STop your Antigen services and the delete Spam Cure folder, start up your Antigen Services and manually update Spam Cure.

THe above worked for me. But somehow had to also stop to Exchange INformation Store as the store of the SpamCure needed to tbe dismounted for the delete.
