Hi,
it seems that this is a current problem with the distribution servers, because many others have the same problem within the last days. You should contact Microsoft to fix this issue.

the engine itself isn't updated very often. Have you contacted Microsoft to fix this issue?

They want support contract to fix this issue and just now renewed the license but no assist from Microsoft.

Hi,
you don't need a support contract. You can open anytime a call with Microsoft without any contract.

Please perform the following steps to see if it helps, if not, you should open a case with Microsoft.
- Ensure that http downloads work and that the url : http://forefrontdl.microsoft.com/server/scanengineupdate can go through your proxy server
- Engine download
-In the Registry under HKLM\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Microsoft\Forefront Server Security\Exchange Server set and/or increase GetFileHTTPTimeout to 600000 (decimal
value)
-In the Registry under HKLM\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Microsoft\Forefront Server Security\Exchange Server set and/or increase also EngineDownloadTimeout value to
600 (decimal value)
