    Hello,

    Would anyone know some specifics regarding the 70-620 exam.  Details such as;

    The number of questions
    The amount of allotted time
    Passing score, or if it is just pass/fail

    I apologize for posting an inane question, but I cannot seem to find any details of this online.

    Thanks

    You cannot find them because the details of an individuals exam is covered under a Non-Disclosure Agreement. However, your questions are okay to answer without violating the NDA.

    The number of questions can vary. Normally 50 or so.
    I cannot remember the exact allotted time. I want to say 2 hours. But it is more than enough.
    The minimum passing score is a 700.

    You will never find time details online about an exam. The only place that will give you length of exam is when you register for the exam and schudle a test. You can do this and then not finish the exam registeration if you want to know for sure how much time you will have. I have never ran out of time for any of my exams. I have taken 7 exams so far. Passing score is 700 NO ONE can explain how the 700 is determined, so don't rack your brain about that. Just accept it. Basicly it is pass or fail. 699 and lower is a fail, 700 and higher is a pass. No one will ever see your score unless you tell them or show them your exam sheet. There is a way for an emploier to verify your credentials once your MCP, but again, no scores are shown. Just the fact that your passed.
    Good luck.

    PS any one who is alread MCDST can upgrade to TWO certs by taking the 70-621 exam.

    Can I just tag a quick question on to this.

    How are the exams structured, are they all multiple choice or are there some that require written answers.

    I do not believe that you question violates the NDA. There are multiple choice questions and simulation questions. The simulation questions will actually have you perform a certain task, this is a way to test your experience on the technology rather than just memorizing it from a book.
