Unable to REinstall FEP 2010

Hello everyone.
Following notification of this error (0x80070424) and a subsequent uninstall of FEP 2010, we've been unable to re-install Forefront on a Windows 7 machine for this instance/question. (This has happened to a handful of computers on our network.)
Focusing on one affected machine, I've deleted any registry key mentioning Forefront, repaired .NET 4.0, uninstalled any secondary anti-spyware programs, etc., with no success. Forefront fails to install, providing a message only that it was unsuccessful.
Any ideas? Thanks for your time.

Thank you for the post.
1.Run Windows Installer Cleanup utility (Program Install and Uninstall troubleshooter) first, or you have to find other force uninstall utility.
