ForeFront Alerts

Hello,
I receive the e-mail alerts when a client gets a virus and it tells me the virus name and the computer name, but it does not tell me if the virus was removed or not. Is there a configuration I can change to also include the status of the infection? Also, Can I setup Forefront to send me scheduled reports about my clients such as applied updates, not responded, out of date, etc.? I am running ForeFront 2010. I read that I would have to create a script, export the report using a Report ID, and then send the report. I was hoping for a built-in scheduler?

Hi,
Have you upgraded to Update Rollup 1? In Update Rollup 1 that information was inlcuded in the e-mail as well.

Hi,
yes it includes a new version of the FEP client. You can easily deploy the new version using Configuraiton Manager instead.

Hi,
I actually haven't tried not to update the clients, I would do that as the Update Rollup contains fixes and updates, you can always try it without installting update on the client and see if you get the e.Mail updated.
You can schedule the reports using the SQL reporting services interface, there you can create a subscription for the available reports, to have them e-mailed automatically.
