Hi I am new to FEP, I noticed the FEP will do a full scan after the windows patching applied on servers. It is not happened to all the servers. Any ideas? In addition, when the definition is updating to the computer, it slow down the computers. Again, it doesn't happened to all the computers. It doesn't matter if it is a newer computer model or old computer.

    Thanks

    Hi Rodney,

    Thank you for the post.

    1. Check the scan log in MPLog-XYZ.log or MpCmdRun.log.
    %allusersprofile%\Microsoft\Microsoft Antimalware\Support\MPLog-XYZ.log
    C:\Windows\Temp\MpCmdRun.log

    2. Verify SCCM console--FEP policy--Schedule scans settings
unchecked  Force a scan upon restart when two or more scheduled scans are missed
checked      Limit processor usage during scans to the following percentage 30%
