I have been looking through a lot of FOPE documentation but cannot find the answer to this simple question:

How long will outbound encrypted messages be stored on the server until they are deleted?

Are there differences when a message is not yet read or read (unread message stay in there longer then messages that have been read?)

    Thanks!

So from what I know we don't actually "store" the encrypted message that comes to the recipient in the body of the message in the ZDM html attachement itself.  When you access the web site you are basically getting a key to unencrypt that content. The key's expire every week so if you need to reopen that email I believe you need to click on the attachment/go to the website again to get a new key.  I don't know that we have an expiration point on getting new keys to open encrypted attachments.. least not that I can find from our support documentation.

Not the best answer but hopefully it helps somewhat?
