Licensing and Users

Directory Sync for FOPE brought in 224 users from my structure, but I only have 80 licenses for the accounts that are active/used.
How are the licenses assigned to accounts?
If I disable an account on the FOPE console does it disable their AD account?
Can I exclude accounts from being synced?

Hi,
FOPE is licensed per user, since one user could have several different email addresses.
There are 2 options to limit the user accounts that are imported:
1. Manually import the list of active users using the Admin Center
2. Restrict the accounts that the DST tool can see:
a.Create a new OU in your AD infrastructure and move the inactive accounts to that OU
b.Deny access to that OU for the account that the DST tool is running as

Hi,
this functionality is not implementet in DST. It uploads every element that is email enabled.

Hello,
I imported a lot of users and distribution lists in FOPE using the DST tool.
If I create an OU and deny access for the DST tool... will it remove accounts and distribution lists?
Thank you.
