Maybe someone else can help me as well as i'm having the same issue (and the above wasn't a solution).

I've  installed Forefront for Exchange 2010 (installed RUs and everything) as of 2/7/2013.

CloudMark hasn't updated since that date/time. All the other engines have been updated and YES it is in use and YES updates are enabled when I select Engine Summary.

I am on Manual (to disable VirusBuster) and if I manually select it shows last check at the current time but last update still shows 2/7/2013.

I do not use a proxy.

I Have also used the http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2292741 (Update Manually) and it connects and downloads data starting with Microsoft then Norman so i can reach the server just fine. It's just CloudMark that wont update!

    Hi,

the Cloudmark Engine isn't updated very often.

What does the powershell command Get-FseSignatureUpdate show you in the Forefront management shell?

This is the result of one of my installations and as you can see I've got a version from November last year.

    CLOUDMARK       Was current          1211290001    2013-02-12 18:51:31Z

    Hi,

the image shows the signatures not the engines.

Well sorry for the eyes glassed over moment there. I was sure it said Engine. However I was still getting the alerts about the status having issues as you saw in the image.

    I ended up downloading this:

    http://support.microsoft.com/kb/261988

Which i then applied and it updated a little after showing everything all green.

So while i may have been wrong, figured i'd post my solution here as well.

Odd that RU4 is not on Windows Update.
