i'm experience errors events on my sharepoint server :

Event ID: 3760
Event Description: SQL Database 'db975_chemi_site' on SQL Server instance '88-sql07id\SQLID' not found. Additional error information from SQL Server is included below.
Cannot open database "db975_chemi_site" requested by the login. The login failed.
Login failed for user 'chemi\ffid'.
A severe error occurred on the current command. The results, if any, should be discarded.
important - the event shows every 2 minutes - as i mention .
help needed

As the event shows above - I'll recommend You to do the following steps :
The chemi\ffid user has not enough or appropriate permissions on db975_chemi_site under instance 88-sql07sid\SQLID ,
1.Check the SQL permission for DBO - it should correct the error event from view again .
2.Remove the FPSP client from sharepoint server .
3 Restart the server .
4.Install FPSP client .

after check permission dbo - miss on specific database you mention for .
works not fine - i mean GREAT!
