Hi we want to automate the checking of the Forefront Sharepoint Protection engines rather than having to manually check the "Dashboard" each time is there anyway Powershell can retreive the values from FSP then we can pipe it to an text and email it.
We've tried the FSP email notifications but it produces an email for each engine update which is troublesome to check - so what we wanted to do is use Powershell to extract the engines versions essentially the details on the "Engine Summary" and use Powershell
to email that.
You can use cmdlet “Get-FsspEngineManagement” to retrieve engine-specific settings. And if you want to retrieve settings for definition updates then use “Get-FsspSignatureOptions”. For more information, please refer to the following link:
