Sharepoint Site access Login prompted when using proxy

Dear All,
I am a noob to TMG 2010 here.
As mentioned in the subject, once i tried to access my internal sharepoint site via proxy i will be prompted with login authentication.
But if I checked the automatic detect settings and unchecked use proxy server.
And I re-opened a new IE browser page to my internal sharepoint site, I can access it without any issues, there will no prompt for authentication.
Even if I turned on logging for my originating IP, it is not captured at all.
Wondering if you experts here could shed some light on this.
