QuestionForefront client security upgradation problem

    Dear All,

    i m unable to upgrade my forefront client security software. error appears "the program can't check for definition updates error found: code 0x80040154 " kindly assist me

    First question:

    What version of the client are you using?

    If I had to guess, it would sound like you have a firewall issue.  What ports are blocked between you and the internet?

    Try getting updates via Windows and Microsoft Update or WSUS,  I found FCS inbuilt update button always hit an error. Maybe a glitch in the application but once you get patched its all smooth from there. 

    If anyone has a fixed post it along..
