AnswerHow to download all missing updates from an MBSA report

The top google result for "MBSA Forum" pointed to a post where a moderator said MBSA 2.1 questions should go to here.  If that's not the case, could a moderator move my question to the appropriate spot please?

I just scanned a server without internet connectivity with MBSA and the manually downloaded .cab files.  I have the report (.mbsa file) on my thumb drive, but there are 65 updates it says I need to install.  Is there a way to easily download all the update installer from the report, or do I have to click on each one individually?

Nick is correct however to answer your question as I unfortunately support that product too the answer is no there is not a way to download/install beyond individually clicking on the updates in MBSA.  The tool was not designed as a patch your system tool but more for determining what you were missing.

    Hi,

    Thank you for your post.

As we mainly focus on the general question about Forefront Client Security, it is recommend you to get further support in our MBSA Newsgroup. The engineers and community members there have more experience and can help you in a more efficient way.

Thanks Kurt, that's what I thought.  Was hoping maybe since MBSA allowed you to scan without an internet connection, they might make it easier on us to download them all somehow too.
