Hi,
Thank you for the post.
“50 machines in 12 hours it is very slow” – would you please elaborate this issue? What do you mean FCS slowly reporting?

Hello,
After rebuilding the FCS server I am waiting now for the machines to be listed in the dashboard and after 3 days now I have only 363 of 1063 machines showing... as well as in the reports.
The server name and IP have not been changed.
Any idea why it takes so long for the machines to be listed?
they are listed in Mom Time Added 12/28/2012 for 1,000 of them, the remaining 15 were added since ... 12/29/2012(1), 12/31/2012(1), 1/2/2013(9), 1/3/2013(3), 1/4/2013(1).
All Computers: 1,069
Unmanaged Computers: 1
Agent-Managed computers: 1,015 (2/3 are Control Level: Full, 1/3 is Control Level: None)
Windows Server Cluster Computers: 53 (Management Mode: Windows Server Cluster Computer - Managed)
Pending Actions empty
Computer Discovery Rules: 1,010
Thanks

Hi,
Thank you for the post.
As far as I know, after you have deployed the FCS from policy. The clients then will show up on the MOM Admin console under Pending Actions. Then after 60 minutes, the client will be automatically moved from Pending Actions to Managed Computers in the MOM Admin console. Please check it.

Hello,
The MOM Console looks okay as all servers (1,011) are under Agent-Managed. The Control level is "Full" for 2/3 or "None" for 1/3 what is this control level is exactly?
There is nothing in the Pending Actions. The Automation of the approval seems working ...
But still I have only 398 this morning inthe dashboard??? and reports?
Thanks,
Dom

Hello,
Today 1/9/2012 I have 450 Clients reporting to the FCS Dashboard !!!
Really slow... the number is increasing but I have no clue why it is taking so much time. I ran the performance on the server and it is fine
CPU 10-15%
RAM 4.5 Gb from 60 GB (it is a 32-bits server so could it be an issue?)
Network 645 Mb on 1 GB
Any idea?
Thanks

Did you ever have the machines run "gpupdate" and then reboot?
If I remember correctly, the FCS Policies are Machine Group Policies, and on XP and Windows 7 they workstation needs to reboot after the policy is applied.
After the machine policy is applied AND a reboot of the workstation, it should take one reporting cycle (24 hours) for the machines to show up.
On a machine that doesn't show up, run gpresult /r to see what machine and group policies are applied (or filtered out) and you might see your answer as to why that machine isn't in your list yet.
