Client Install
- Can someone please clarify something for me? I have recently installed Forefront Client Security and have setup a policy on a test OU which several servers are a member of. Should FCS install the actual Forefront Client also or just manage it? So far, none of my servers or desktops have installed the client on their own. If I run the installation manually then they show up as being management by an administrator.
On a side note, I have WSUS 3.0 installed on a server that is also running SCCM. According to some of the documentation I've read there is no need to install the distribution client on the WSUS server when WSUS 3.0 is installed.
Thank You!

Hi,
Thank you for your post.
According to your description, I understand you have problem with deploying FCS client software. If anything misunderstand, please let me know.
As we know, there are many ways to deploy FCS: Group Policy, SMS, Login scripts, WSUS and etc. we recommend you deploy FCS agent with WSUS. You may perform the following steps to achieve your goal:
Step0 - remove existing antivirus software
Step1 - in WSUS: Approve FCS package
Step2 - on Server: Create and deploy FCS policy
Step3 - client: will install FCS agent from WSUS
