DTS Job fail
DTS Job fail
Hello,
My problem is that 14-days history is not being showed. I confirm that DTS Job fails. The error message is: Can not asign enought space for object 'dbo.SC_RelationshipInstanceFact_Table' .'RelationshipInstanceFact_ConfigurationGroupFK_DateTimeOfTransfer_ClusteredIndex' on SystemCenterReporting Database because primary group is full.
The System Center Reporting Database disck space is 60Gb and I do not want to increase disk space.
How I can empty or reduce the primary group?? I think that emty data on primary group the dts job will run ok.
Thanks in advance.

- Hi!
Have you sized the db according to the amount of computers and the amount of days to save data? (I'm guessing not) If you don't then you will keep on running in to db beein full and dts job failing.
the default grooming days is 395. you might want consider lowering this value. http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx/kb/887016/
here is how to size the db http://blogs.technet.com/fcsnerds/archive/2008/09/25/fcs-with-mom-2005-database-guidance.aspx
Depending on how big your db is set you can lower the grooming value so that FCS cleansout it's own db for you
