    I was just wondering if anyone else has tried to set up ForeFront Client Security Beta 2 on a Windows Longhorn Server box. It seems that once I did so, I can no longer hit any Microsoft update servers--AU or WSUS. Both services return an error code: 80072F8F and "An HTTP error occurred.", respectively. Moreover, if I try to update engine definitions within FCS they all return download errors as well. Event viewer log file and Windows Update (AU) log file:

    EDIT:

    Well, the post before this one states that FCS isn't supported on x64 platforms noting that GPMC isn't 64-bit capable as of yet.

    Also, I installed it alongside ForeFront Security for SharePoint services. Will the two conflict with one another (after they're out of the beta stage)?

    Hi Ryan

    Thanks for posting!

    FCS Beta 2 is not supported on Longhorn Server.  But from the log you posted, that was for Forefront Server Security, not FCS

    As for the side by side, we are targeting the ability to run both on the same host machine
