    Hi,

I have recently become a system admin for a company. They have FCS installed (and I dont how) removed at the same time, but the GP created is still there and effective.

But the problem is, the policy is configured to run a full scan on the clients PC at 1:00 PM !! (peak time), and I want to change this setting. obviously, I cant change it thru the FCS console.

I can change it per PC from that PC registery, but there's more than 300 PC + every 1.5 hour, PC's sync with the DC and get the old setting back.

I tried to search the FCS GP for the setting that can change this time , but I can not find its path...

    Please help if u can

    Hi,

    Thank you for the post.

If the GPO is still in AD then you should be able to run an rsop.msc or gpresult to see the policy name that is applying the FCSAM registry keys. Unfortunately since we do not offer an .adm to edit FCS GPO's, you would not be able to directly edit that GPO properly. The Easiest method would be just to delete that GPO from AD and install a new FCS server and deploy policy to those clients.
