I have currently downloaded the updates of microsoft forefront security to a folder on my desktop.

Now i did not have the idea to how can install them or upgrade my forefront software.

After downloading the update, you can run it manually. Have a look at this link http://support.microsoft.com/kb/935934/en-us

Otherwise, for a large environment, it is most easy to update FCS client through WSUS http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/bb432628.aspx
