Hi,
Thank you for your update.
I did some test on my Forefront TMG beta 3. It works fine. So I’d like to know more about your configuration.
1.What version of the Forefront TMG?
2.Do you occur other problem when using TMG? Do you receive any error message when installing Forefront TMG?
3.How do you select on the tab “Published Reports”?
If the published reports directory is on a different computer, click “Set Account”, and enter credentials that will be used by the reporting engine for publishing. These credentials should have write permissions in the specified folder.
When specifying a published reports directory, the directory must exist in the file system. The report generator will not create the folder. and you must grant at least Read access permissions to users who must view the report in this shared folder. Meanwhile, if you specify a user account to publish the report, you must make sure that this user account is granted write permissions to the destination folder.

Hi,
Thank you for your post.
I did some research regarding error code “0x80131040”. But I don't think this is the exact message that cause this issue. Would you please tell us your network environment ? Do you receive any other error message? Before that, I’d like to know how do you create the reports. You may refer to the following article about creating reports.

This is the Security server as part of Essential Business Server (EBS). The EBS installer installed everything.
As far as I know reports has never worked, I also have no idea how EBS will be updated in the future since its November release everything has gone dark regarding this product. From what I can tell this is a 32-bit version of TMG with 64-bit shims to make it work using Windows Server 2008 64-bit; it would be nice to get a full 64-bit version of TMG, but that gets back to my update question?
Hope that helps. - Today, TMG crashed (BSOD) after turning off caching /w restart of service. BSOD reports tcpip.sys as cause, I have Full Dump file; if anyone is interested I can upload file. It is just under 8GB.
