AnswerAfter Cisco VPN client uninstalled, Internet Connection Sharing is f*cked up

I've installed a recent Cisco VPN clientin Windows XP SP3, fully patched.
And uninstalled it again after a succesful test connecting to work.
But now the other computers on my LAN cannot use Internet Conection Sharing (ICS) _completely_.
DNS works and *some* HTTP pages load, but others don't.
F.e. google.com and imdb.com work, but microsoft.com does not work.

Can anyone help please please? I've tried all kinds of firewall changes / reset but nothing changes.

    Thanks in advance,
    Richard

BTW: Looking arounf the internet I see that the "Cisico VPN client" has caused a million hours of grief already. Grrr.

    Hi,

    Go back to your basics,

check your TCP/ IP settings on a single client.
Then check if you can ping the gateways IP
    Then check your DNS settings
    Ping the DNS
Then check if you can ping hostnames like www.bing.com  and www.watbenjedan.com
Then check to see if you can ping internal hostnames like exchange.local

If you are using a Windows 200x server with ICS enabled to give other computers in your LAN internet,
you might want to reboot that server.

These are basics, please report if you still have problems.
