Node incorrectly added to Array

Hi All,
strange issue: I have two Arrays managed by one EMS. We're actually migrating from ArrayA to ArrayB (hardware upgrade). I have copied and pasted a few rules from one array to another and it seems that during this copy process one of the ArrayA nodes got added to ArrayB (not entirely sure if copying the rules was the actual reason or not).
I need to keep both Arrays online and functioning during the migration process, but now I'm hesitant to do anything in ArrayB since the wrong node is also shown as updating when applying changes.
Has anyone seen this before and is there a way to clean this up without breaking either ArrayA or ArrayB?
Thx in advance!
Rgds - Marcus.PS: kb2498837 doesn't seem to apply, I'm on TMG SP2 (7.0.9193.500)

Hi,
Thank you for the post.
“We're actually migrating from ArrayA to ArrayB (hardware upgrade).” – do you mean both arrayA and arrayB are managed by EMS? And you want to run two arrays on the same server, is that right?

Hi Nick,
yes that is correct. I'm not sure what you mean by "run two arrays on the same server", but if you're referring to the EMS, then yes. This is a supported scenario, is it not?
ArrayA is a two node array and ArrayB a three node. One of the nodes of ArrayA got added to ArrayB somehow, but none of the ArrayB nodes were added to ArrayA.
Thx&Rgds,

Had to make a decision to move the project along, so I took a risk and deleted the "wrong" node from the "Systems" view.
So far, everything seems to be working in both arrays.
Will update if I notice anything.- Marked As Answer by MarcusB Sunday, February 10, 2013 11:35 PM
