Answered VOIP Phones and ISA 2006 Web Proxy?

These are physical VOIP handsets, not software running on a workstation.

Do VOIP phones such as Avaya and Cisco desk phones need to completely bypass ISA proxying to work properly, or can these types of phones work as Securenat clients so we can log traffic/bandwidth being used by phones?

    Hi,

    Thank you for the post.

You should check the documentation provided by the Phone manufacturers and create access rule to open the required ports.
