ISA Server cannot load the property page
- In System Policies, under Remote Management | Ping and Diagnostic Services | ICMP, all of the networks have disappeared in the To and From tabs respectively. I get the error message "ISA Server cannot load the property page. Error: 0x80070002. The system cannot find the file specified."
When I try to add a network such as Internal and save, I get "The changes cannot be saved. Error: 0xc0040357" and "The Network referenced by Policy Rule Allow ICMP (PING) requests from selected computers to ISA Server does not exist."
I am running Microsoft ISA Server 2006 Version: 5.0.5723.493 on Win2003 Server EE SP2.
I have tried recreating the mmc to no avail...
Any thoughts?

Hi,
Thank you for your post.
I did some research regarding the error code “0x80070002”. This issue occurs for one of the following reasons:
1. You run the ISA Server Management console on a configuration storage server on which ISA Server Firewall services are not installed.
2. You run the ISA Server Management console on a stand-alone computer on which ISA Server Firewall services are not installed.
To resolve this issue, please apply the 943202 hotfix rollup package on each computer that has the ISA Server Management console installed. For more information, click the following article number to view the article in the Microsoft Knowledge Base:

- Hi Nick. Thanks for the response. I have seen that article before. Yet I do not fit condition one or two. I run the ISA Management MMC on the same server with the firewall and CSS. Also, I run ISA 2006 SP1 and that article explicitly says ISA 2004.
Thoughts?
Hi,
Thank you for your update.
As this is a corrupt configuration, you may refer to the following link to see if it works.

Regards,
Nick Gu - MSFT- Well that error refers to a different object and the second link refers to ISA 2004. I think by the time I try to adapt those tactics to my situation, I could have reinstalled.
Any other ideas? I guess I am reinstalling today. Eventually I think I will replace this with an ASA. I won't get all the application layer functionality, but it will be more stable. This is just unacceptable.
Thanks for your help.
