Friends have a strange problem:
Until last Friday I could access the ftp of the company (whose domain is hosted in a Hosting Company) There is a time I made a rule in TMG FTP protocol from internal to external, and always worked.
Today I could not even access the ftp, logging and monitoring logs by TMG saw that he was asking for ports other than the 21, I finally had to release a range of ports outbond of 60,001 up to 62,254, to gain access again.
Access has always been done and is done through software filezila.
I would like help from friends to this situation, this is not normal.
The problem could be in the Forefront TMG?

Hi,
if you didn't changed the configuration of your TMG Server, the problem may exist at the destination FTP Server.
Please check in your TMG configuration if the FTP Filter is enabled and bound to the FTP protocol definition
Please have a look into the TMG live logging to see which traffic get's blocked and please send us the Filezilla FTP connection process protocol
Do you use Active FTP? If yes: Is Active FTP activiated in the FTP application filter?regards Marc Grote aka Jens Baier - www.it-training-grote.de - www.forefront-tmg.de - www.nt-faq.de
