Hi Friends,
Recently had 2nd ISP leased line connection commissioned for one of our Projects . Already 1 leased line internet is operational from another ISP. Self would like to implement 2nd ISP leased line connection for my LAN. The Idea which I would like to implement is shown below.
Note ; There are 2 ISP's from 2 different providers and there IP range are different. I have 1 LAN with the series 192.x.x.x.
Currently existing WAN from 1 ISP is handled by TMG 2010.
How to integrate second WAN from 2nd ISP using another TMG 2010.
Please suggest if there is any other work-around apart from the idea shown in the above image ?
If the above shown image can be implemented practically then how the current installed DNS/DHCP Server will manage both the ISP connections at LAN level ?

Hi,
TMG has a feature ISP redundancy http://www.isaserver.org/tutorials/Exploring-ISP-Redundancy-Forefront-Threat-Management-Gateway-TMG-2010.html
So one TMG (or a array of TMG servers) can use ISP1 and switch over to ISP2 if ISP1 fails. That is a a great feature for outgoing traffic. For incoming traffic, for example web site publishing you need to change the external DNS entries because you will get different IP subnets from ISP1 and ISP2.

Lutz

Hi,
Thank you for the post.
Yes, I agree with Lutz. We can use ISP redundancy feature of TMG. With that option we can either load balance ALL Traffic between 2 ISP's or use it as a failover, ie: if one ISP will fail then another will take care of the traffic. It cannot be configured for specific protocols.
