AnswerTrouble joining TMG EE to array

I have a machine I'm trying to join to an existing EE array. It always fails with the message:

    Error: 0xc0040431
Forefront TMG services failed to start after a array join or an array disjoin. Check alerts, fix the configuration, and attempt to restart the services.

It seems like it isn't waiting long enough for a particular service to start. Just wondering if anyone else had this issue and a potential workaround?

The issue was that there was a disabled NIC on the machine.  This did not impact the install of the RC version but it did cause the array join to fail.  Once the NIC was enabled it worked fine.

    Hi,

    Thank you for the post.

As you see, 0xc0040431 just means “E_FPC_SERVICES_FAILED_TO_START_AFTER_ARRAY_JOIN”, we need know more information. Do you have received any other alert or error application event log? If have, please let me know.
