    Hello,

I'll try to explain my doubts if someone can help thank you.

We have a client (hospital), which provides Wi-Fi, patients and people waiting, however it happened, the hospital recently received a court order, which accuses him through the IP that the hospital sent emails and attempted invasions .

When browsing logs wi-fi, we find that there the same day, 2 ips with different mac address, and, through the date and time can get exactly ip and mac address that sent the email.

This is someone who used the wi-fi at the hospital, then we have something like this:

IP                      mac address                 start date                  end date

    192.168.1.100  08-00-27-00-DB-EC      08/02/13: 13:40         08/02/13: 15:20

    192.168.1.100  00-01-55-07-EE-DC      08/02/19: 15:55         02/08/19: 31:10

That is, what we know is that the mac address that initiated the access 19:15:55 is a person who sent the email, however, the question is as follows .. it is possible to locate the person through the mac address, assuming that this is not chewed mac?

I would like the opinion of you.

    thanks

    Hi,

TMG cannot filter by MAC address and there is no reporting for the MAC address used
