FTP denied access and ISA 2006
FTP denied access and ISA 2006
- Hi,
I've created a rule that allows FTP traffic from internal to external for everyone under firewall policy. Now FTP access works in IE but I'm trying to access this through one of the FTP client software called Core FTP (free). I've specified proxy details but still am not getting through ISA.
Looking at monitoring in ISA, I get 59 An unexpected network error occurred. Source is from client and destination is ISA. So I'm not even getting through ISA. Also user is anonymous. Looks like user is not being authenticated either?
Please advise.

- This is the error message i got. A version of Microsoft ISA Server is already installed on this computer. As a result, Setup cannot continue the installtion.
- Are you trying to install the Firewall Client on the ISA Server machine itself ?? NO NO.
Install the Firewal Client on the Client Machine, the one you installed the FTp Client on it.
