    Hi,

    Thank you for your post.

According to your description, I understand that the problem you are experiencing is sp1 install failed on ISA 2006.

Before going any further, I’d like to confirm what version of you OS. As we know, Chinese ISA is not compatible with English Windows. You should install ISA 2006 (Chinese) on Windows 2003 (Chinese).

If the OS is right, you may look into the ISA installation log files: %Windir%\temp , and they are in the format  : isa*.log. Meanwhile, please enable MSI Logging: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/223300/en-us

    Regards,

Can you give us a little more information? Is this Standard or Enterprise Edition?

Is the version of ISA Server English?

Any other error events show up in the Event Viewer?

    What does the MSIEXEC.LOG show?

The reason I asked if this was english ISA Server is because the only other case I found was Chinese ISA Server trying to install on English Windows. They are not compatible.
