    Hi
    I've setting up a Backup FSSMC server, but keep getting prompted that the passwords on the Primary and Backup server don't match.

    How do I change the password on the Primary Server?

    Thank you for your post.

     

    Based on my research, this issue may occur because Forefront Server Security Management Console does not support replication between SQL Server installations that have different language IDs. For data replication to function, the installation of SQL Server that are used by the primary server and by the backup server must have the same language ID.     the real problem is that I don't know what the original password set on the Primary server is. (Someone else set it) and now I need to add a backup server. So I don't think its to do with SQL replication (yet)
